Saturday night my girlfriends and I went to a local bar down in Murray Hill. But just when I thought it was the typical "Girls Night Out"... in other words, no cute boys what-so-ever, a very cute boy suddenly and surprisingly approached me. We chatted away for quite some time, as my girlfriends pulled me aside to tell me how cute he was, how nice he was, etc. We actually had a lot in common, he seemed to be nice, smart, funny, outgoing, and then I thought... "Could I have possibly met a decent guy while out at a bar?" Yes, it could very well be possible. Well, at least for a little while.
That was until a rather homely looking blonde chick started to stare at us from a distance. I couldn't help but notice how creepy she was being. She started to get closer, and closer, and then all of a sudden her and my guy started talking, touching, and doing other... stuff. That was when he introduced me to his girlfriend. I couldn't help but to shake her hand and be polite. When she started to talk to me I excused myself, told my friends what happened, they said "Only you!" And we left in a hurry, only to see the couple arguing outside. Who knows what they were fighting about, and who knows why he started talking to me in the first place, but what I do know is that it's impossible to meet a nice guy at a bar in good ol' New York City.

Sadly, I think this goes for just about every bar in every city-at least the ones I've been to!
Date girl is right! Hey, at least they didn't ask if you wanted to go home with them!
this happens so often. it is just not fair. here are my somewhat annoyed thoughts on the matter...
