If you're Jewish, then you should know that your mother calls you multiple times a day just to make sure that you're eating, breathing, and that you haven't gotten killed somewhere in between eating and breathing. For me, obviously I've dealt with this my entire life. And now that I've moved across the country, things have gone to a whole new level, and my mother, well, let's just say she's pretty much certifiably insane (not that she wasn't before).
Even while I'm working, you would think that my mother would know that one shouldn't be allowed personal phone calls, at least once every hour. Especially when you're on set, you can't just pick up the phone and chit chat. But she just doesn't get it. She calls, texts, emails things like..
"Where are you?"
"What are you doing?"
"Have you eaten?"
And, "are you wearing a sweater?"

As someone with a Jewish mother I can totally relate. She calls me everyday at 9:30 and asks me what I am doing...uh working, same as yesterday. And that is just the first call of the day.
this is funny , but i came up w/ another idea u guys should both dl skype or ovoo . then u can chat and actually see each other through the computer. then she'll really know what ur doing lmaoooooooo. o noo will ur mom read this now and tell me i gave her a good idea lmaoooooo ..
Don't give any ideas! Although, I'm sure she already has that one up her sleeve, or has camera planted in my apartment somewhere.
It sounds a bit like maybe your over reacting maybe she just worries about you alot.
My mom does the same so it does not matter where you live
