Dear Candace Bushnell,
I am writing to you because I recently found out that you are doing a new book series titled The Carrie Diaries. In other words, SATC - The High School/ College Years. Ahh, very clever!
So let's cut to the chase. Mrs. Bushnell, as you probably already know, this new book series will most likely become yet another hit TV seires and/ or blockbuster movie. And if so, who better to fit the bill as one of it's writers than the person's who's most recently lived the part: The eternal single girl from New York City, you know, the one who's relationship almost always ends in disaster. The one who's a struggling writer. Yes, Mrs. Bushnell, that girl is me!
If you know me well, then you'd know that somehow I always get myself into disastrous situations. Sometimes it's because of me. Sometimes it's because of my girlfriends. Sometimes it's because of the boys that I date. But mostly, I just really think that my life is meant to be either A) a best selling book series B) a blockbuster romantic comedy or C) a comedy on HBO. So if there's one thing for certain, it's that I was born to be a writer.
But since I don't know much about the publishing world, nor do I have any idea how to get into a writer's room, I figured the next best thing is to blog about it, and maybe, just maybe, somebody will notice me. So I've become an infamous blogger at "The Dating Jungle" where I've even been dubbed as The Carrie Bradshaw of blogging.
What can I say, Mrs Bushnell, I don't think anybody could ever fill your Manolo Blahnik shoes. But hopefully, someday, I can dare to try. And hopefully, that someday is soon.

You write so eloquently of your journey thru the applicable years Ms. Bushnell tends to portray in her Carrie Diaries, talking the the talk makes you able to walk the walk by putting pen to paper depicting your experiences with a flair for words. Keep at it Jen, you are a talented writer. I trust Ms Bushnells educated eye will call on you to therefore make her story inspirationally and nostalgically appealing with your help. Helen {doodles}
You go girl, write it like it is, you lived it, the facts will speak for themselves. Candace Bushnell with her educated eye and ear,her team and your input and flair for writing can make Carries Diaries a huge success, because truth is stranger than fiction. Realism always gives way to nostalgia, thats the kicker to inspire viewers. Emory

Jen, this is such a fantastic idea. Who better than the REAL Carrie Bradshaw to do this?! I would love to see this turned into a show with you at the helm!
