Valentine's Day

If you are single, then like me, you have been in Valentine's Day hell for the past couple of weeks.

Personally, I hate Valentine's Day. Why is it that on this day, you are supposed to buy flowers, chocolates, gifts, and act super sweet for your loved one? Why on this day, are you supposed to be all romantic and lovey dovey? If you have a significant other, you should be like that everyday! No? And if you are single, then this day makes you feel even more like the single piece of shit you already feel like.

So, what does a single gal do this Valentine's Day, you ask? Why not go and see "Valentine's Day" (the movie) with your girlfriends, and then go out and get wasted. I know that's what I'll be doing!

I like the "getting wasted" part of your plan. However, that movie would probably make me even more bitter that I'm single. Perhaps I would need to BYOB to the movie theater...

I so agree...I'm actually going to see Valentine's Day today and then I'm getting wasted. All with one of my oldest friends, and we're both single and we're both in the HATE ALL COUPLES mood...not fun, but it's what it is right now. ;) haha.

Happy Friday.

xoxo

Sounds like a great plan! I hate Valentine's Day and I'm engaged! I just think we all get our hopes up so much for this cheesy, hallmark holiday.
The only thing we're going to do is use the holiday as an excuse to make a nice meal together. Match works that night, and sleeps during the day for graveyard, so I'll probably check out the movie. Hopefully I can find a few single ladies to go with me, or else I might have to go alone. Now that's depressing!

"If you have a significant other, you should be like that everyday!" My BF's sentiments, too... which is a good thing, I think ;) No V-Day plans for us, it was a normal day... and I liked it that way! Glad the vomit-inducing diamond commercials will now be gone, good god...
